Beaded in the Maasai tradition by women Artisans receiving a fair wage, the Farasi (the Swahili word for "horse") brow bands are as tough as they are beautiful.
Made by hand and authentically in Tanzania, each band measures a total length of 17" to 17.5" and features approximately 13" of stunning beadwork.
Each band will have slight variations adding to its unique style.
100% of net proceeds are invested into the Artisans and our innovative menstrual hygiene program, UhuruPads (East Africa's first 100% compostable sanitary pad, produced by a team of women for distribution to girls keeping them in school).
